I spent a lovely spring evening this March photographing Michelle + Jared at The North Carolina Museum of Art. We had a full house for this shoot- their adorable pup Ruxon displayed his jumping prowess among the spring trees.
The NCMA is one of my favorite portrait locations- I just love the mix of modern sculptures, dreamy trails, and minimalist architecture. (I’d actually love to return with my bicycle later this spring, since the Reedy Creek Greenway runs right through it and connects the park to Umstead, NC State, and other fabulous Raleigh spots!). Ruxon especially loved romping through the open fields.
Michelle and Jared, thanks for being such a fun, laid-back couple to work with! I hope you love these pictures, and I can’t wait to work with you again for your wedding in October!

A quick note: Michelle's makeup was done by the fabulous Pamela Hung of OnLoKtion Makeup. She does great work!
